今回はチョッと下品な話題で失礼！

In business, the name of the company is important.
The name gives an image.
So what image does this name give to you?
It gives a very different impression to foreigners.
It is funny when you travel what you see.
So in Japan, this name would not seem strange but to foreigners this name
is strange and is a rude saying.
This is done all over the world for example in Canberra in Australia there is
a shopping complex with a store called ‘Chin chin’.
Now for Aussies looking at the name of the store they would not think twice
but if you were Japanese or you can understand Japanese this is quite rude
for the name of a store and you would probably have a good laugh.
It is the same with the name Qantas. In Japanese, the pronunciation of the ‘Q’
is really not possible so it is pronounced as a ‘c’. This sounds like
‘cuntus’
which is rude so please take care if you are booking flights to Australia or people
may laugh and you will wonder why.
So have fun and the strange things we find are often the funniest!

-usは「…の多い」「…に富む」「…の特徴の」という意味になるようですよ。
