Hello Everyone!
Time again for those New Year resolutions! Mine is to be a better global
citizen. Since the tsunami destroyed so many people’s lives in so many
places I realize how little I do for others around the world. I was shocked
at the devastation and have made a personal donation to UNICEF.
On the news I saw that both UNICEF and the Red Cross were already helping
some of the worst hit areas so I encourage us all to give something.
Every little bit helps and many people have lost everything.
Penpal Corner News
I am very happy to report that two people from the penpal corner have fallen
in love and are now getting married.
It is wonderful to see that two people from different countries can find love even though they are still so far apart.
We wish the couple all the best and hope that they will send us a picture of their wedding.
If you are looking to meet someone as a friend or as a potential life partner then you should get a penpal because you never know who you might meet!!!
Year of the Chicken
A little birdie told me that this year is the year of the chicken in Japan.
So if you were born in this year then it is a very lucky year for you.
However, if you were not born in this year then you are still lucky ..remember
someone can tell you your fortune but your destiny is yours to control…you
can be whatever you want to be…..just believe in yourself!!
It is always best not to take advice from a chicken !!
