アメリカでは、チョッと変わった番組があるのよ・・・
Reality TV
In America there are some really strange shows on the television called
reality TV.
The stars of these shows are real people like you and me. The latest one of these shows is called Extreme Makeover. People’s faces and bodies are changed by an "Extreme Team," including makeup artists, stylists, and personal trainers, led by an on-camera top plastic surgeons, eye surgeons and cosmetic dentists. This show also features tips about fashion, hair and makeup for the home viewers so they, too, can do an extreme makeover for themselves.
Each show features two people, seen "before" and "after" the
makeover and the climax is when the candidates reveal their new selves to their
families and friends.
Is this show in Japan yet?

怖いの???
Are you scared……?
Nearly everyone has a fear of something. I did not think I had too many
fears but I do hate spiders and I am scared of heights (tall places).
Going up the elevator in the Tokyo tower was scary.
If you know you are scared of something then it is called a phobia. Here
are some examples:
Acousticophobia- Fear of noise
Bibliophobia- Fear of books.
Chronophobia-
Fear of time.
The list is endless so if you want to find the word for the fear you have then here is a website that has a very comprehensive list.
