ご馳走してくれなきゃ、いたずらだ・・・・・
Trick or Treat-
Last month was Halloween in the US and it was fantastic. About 50 children came and rang the doorbell. They were all in different costumes. There was a big chicken…a princess…..a few ghosts…a witch….and a really scary monster. It was fun to look out the window and see all of them going from house to house to be given candy. It was like a scene from a funny scary movie.

*Halloween:
Trick
or treat"(ごちそうしてくれなけりゃ,いたずらだ)と言ってお菓子などをもらう.
Where does a ghost go on Saturday
night?
Anywhere he can boo-gie..!!!
What do ghosts have for dessert?

What do witches put in their hair?

I scream=Icecream (発音が同じでしょう? screamは、悲鳴を上げる)
…..Remember the Statue….
Many mags ago I asked about a statue in a park in Tokyo and a very kind reader Ogushi-sama provided the name of the hero as well as a little information about him. Thank you Ogushi ?sama!
The statue of a horse-riding samurai at the palace park in Tokyo is Masashige Kusunoki..
He fought with the Emperor Godaigo against the Kamakura Shogunate ( Takauji Ashikaga) in the early 14th century.
He can be described as one of Japan’s many Heros.
That is
all for this scary week…..talk to you next week……
Take
care…stay safe…and laugh a lot (it is good for your health)
Ajet Blondy
