Hello Everyone!
Well at the moment I am in the USA and I can tell you that it is certainly
a different place to Australia.
The food is different, the people are different, the TVshows are different
and the language is different!
When I traveled in Japan I got confused because of the different dialects
but I am supposed to be speaking the same language but no one can understand
me.
I thought I was speaking English but I must be speaking Australian.
America…land of the Donut
If you watch any American movies then you go to the US and expect
to see donuts.
You expect police to be eating them while sitting in their cars.
You expect everyone to meet at a donut shop and eat at least three or four of
them but I never expected to see so many stores.
There is a store on every corner in the big cities and just when you thought donuts
always have a hole in them.
Here they are filled with jam, cream, jelly, custard and chocolate!
I could only eat one as they are so sweet.
If you have been to the US let me know what you had……….or how many!
There must be less calories in the donuts with the hole in them…I hope!
＜何を食べればいいの？？？＞
English will kill you…
The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks
than the British or Americans.
On the other hand, the French eat a lot of fat and also suffer
fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
Conclusion: Eat what you like. It's speaking English that kills you.

＜日本のピザは・・・＞
Pizza in Japan…
Any foreigner that comes back from Japan
always complains that the Pizza toppings are
too boring.
You see in Japan the Pizza toppings are so
interesting and they are always changing.
There is always a large variety of toppings
and they are delicious.
In the US and Australia the topping choices
are not as adventurous and certainly not as
interesting. There is no flavor of the month and nearly 80% of the pizzas
have meat on them such as beef pork or chicken in Australia….98% in the
US.
In Japan you can easily get a Tuna pizza! Oh I miss Japanese pizza!
＜Eye Contactが大切なの＞
Communication……..look confident!
If you are planning on going overseas as a student or
to work then there is a difference you need to know
about in non-verbal communication.
Eye contact is so very important in the US and you need
to appear confident by looking into people’s eyes when
you talk to them. It is ok to look away occasionally but if you do not
look them in
the eye then it seems like you have no confidence or you are not honest.
If you have an interview you will be nervous so practice in a mirror and
make sure
you can maintain eye contact.

Find a perfect match
What do you look for in your perfect match?
Do you want someone who is clever, funny, kind,
generous?
A survey of most wanted characteristics say that women want a man that
is funny and makes them laugh.
Men however want someone who can cook …… I think we really are from
different planets!
＜E-bay 中毒って？？？＞
E-bay addiction
More and more people are using the Internet to buy
all sorts of things and e-bay is one of the most
popular sites.
You can find anything there that you need and just
have to put in the price you want to pay.
Is this new way to shop taking the fun out of shopping?
Soon we will not have stores and you will no be able to
go ‘window shopping’ you will only be able to go
‘screen shopping’.

It would be a scary thought to think that you could live your life and
never even leave your
home again………very scary for this shop-a-holic!
